The Planning Alliance, a new public-private coalition formed to advance the role of planning across the country, is holding its inaugural Spring Summit in collaboration with its Steering Board led by the Planning Officers’ Society and comprising representatives from MHCLG, the Planning Advisory Service, BPF, HBF and the London Property Alliance.
The Summit will include insights from Board organisations and a keynote discussion on planning leadership; plus breakout workshops on the themes of:
- Local Government Reorganisation and leadership in the new, large-scale unitary planning authorities
- Achieving culture change and efficiency in planning services
- Digital disruption and planning – distinguishing the useful from the hype
Event attendees will include senior planners and policy makers across national and local government and industry body members. A free buffet lunch will be provided on arrival, with optional networking following the event. As a member of the Planning Alliance’s Steering Board we have a limited number of spaces for our members, so register your interest early.
