On behalf of CPA and WPA members, London Property Alliance has submitted a response to DLUHC’s (Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities) consultation on Permitted Development Rights.
In our submission, we re-stated the Alliance’s objections to unrestrained conversation of offices and hotels to housing. Whilst the Alliance fully supports the Government’s ambition to increase housebuilding across the country, this must come forward in a regulated and appropriate manner and not at the expense of other strategically important land uses.
