On behalf of CPA and WPA members, London Property Alliance has drafted a response to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government’s consultation, The Fair Funding Review 2.0.
The Government is consulting on proposed reforms to how local authorities in England are funded under the Local Government Settlement. In the response, we welcome the recognition by the Government of the need to reform local government funding. However, we have significant concerns that the proposals as presented will not provide a funding arrangement that fairly and effectively reconciles needs and resources at a local authority level.
