London Property Alliance Chief Executive, Charles Begley, has written to Prime Minister Andy Burnham setting out how his government can work with cities to drive growth and raise productivity across the UK.
In the letter, he argues that delivering good growth will require stronger support for commercial development, investment in the infrastructure that underpins economic success and greater incentives for local authorities to support growth. The Alliance calls on Government to recognise offices as critical economic infrastructure, back strategic transport projects and strengthen devolution by allowing councils to retain more of the benefits of economic growth.
